The White House Administration on Developmental Disablities holds “Office Hours Sessions” on a variety of disability issues. The sessions are open to the public via Twitter. The next event is being held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 7:00 Mountain Time. The topic will be disability policy. To participate:

–Ask your question on Twitter with the hashtag #WHChat
–Kareem Dale will respond to your question in real-time via Twitter
–Follow the Q&A through the @WHLive Twitter account
–If you miss the session, the full Q&A will be posted on WhiteHouse.gov and Storify.com/WhiteHouse

Tonight at 7:00pm Mountain time, President Obama will deliver his State of the Union Address. This is an opportunity to hear his vision for America over the next year.

Utah Parent Center, Family Links, and Utah Family Voices are sponsoring a conference on January 17-18, 2012 in Salt Lake City. The Legislative Coalition for People with Disabilities will be meeting on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Sanderson Community Center  5709 South 1500 West, SLC from 12:30-2:00 pm. Please note the change of location for this meeting.
