With the legislature in session, it’s easy to focus our attention solely on the activity taking place in Salt Lake City. It’s important, and so much takes place on a daily basis that it’s hard to keep up with it all. But it is important to remember that crucial events will take place all year and throughout the state.
If the upcoming elections are important to you, it’s the perfect time to start preparing. Caucus meetings take place in two weeks. Consider trying to become a delegate for your party. As a delegate, you will have the ear of the candidates. They will seek you out and want to share their vision with you. It’s a great opportunity to ask candidates how they feel about disability issues.
The Utah Republican Party holds their caucus meetings at 7:00pm on March 15, 2012; the Utah Democratic Party holds their caucus meetings at 7:00pm on March 13, 2012.
